Some Music, Dance, and Artistry in Uzbekistan

Several times I had the opportunity to watch some music being played, or rope walkers perform or even dance in Uzbekistan. Quite often you can watch families perform, earning their living with traditional arts.

Here is a family performing traditional songs.

The guys aren't in the picture, sorry.

The tight rope walkers first perfomed on the rope and afterwards they immediately changed to sing and play on their istruments.

Another occasion, a band of elderly guys and two young mothers, all belonging to a family, were perfoming.

Please don't get seasick! And I don't know what happened to the sound. I'll try to fix it.

A shopkeeper at Samarkand's Registan did not only sell classical instruments, but also played all these different instruments.
