Haiku from Winter to Spring

Snow piling on roof
Snow covering the meadows
Where are bats and mice?

Snow still lingering
River banks not flooded yet
But nightingale sings

Moon’s frosty sickle
Windshield covered with fern frost
Just walking on

Waning moon’s sickle
It’s cooler than expected
But the small birds sing

The snow is melting
Dark meadow in the morning
Nightingale is back

Little girl playing
The orange ball leaves her hands
Blossoms starting spring
