Haiku Winding on

The clouds wait
At the crossroads
For green light

Above the dark trough
Golden birds are crossing
Early morning light

Lost in thought
A turtle rushes past
Too quickly

I call it haiku
You do not have to agree
Let's leave it this way

Long, winding road
The stones wait with sharp edges
And pain moves

First heat of spring
Kids looking for the iceman
Bringing joy

Mists on the dark Rhine
The sky explodes in orange
Drivers look sideways

.
